Community Profile

This project, called the Popular Culture Investigators, has been initially undertaken at the Institute of English Cultures and Literatures at the University of Silesia as a foray into systemic research concerning broadly understood popular culture in all its aspects. The goal of the project is to develop research tools that would allow for innovative approaches to popular culture, effectively broadening the scope of our understanding of the contemporary culture.

This community is specifically designed to serve as a forum for researchers and well as students affiliated in any way with the project whose interests encompass any and all aspects of popular culture, allowing them to share their thoughts (papers, presentations) and work towards a better understanding of the phenomena that have been gathered under the umbrella term of popular culture.
